It is unknown if the deformity is the result of an injury or abuse, or if the dog may have been born this way. The Saving East Valley Shelter Dogs Facebook page has provided this dog’s adoption information:

He has been adopted and from what I know he went to a very good place that can afford to have him checked by a vet. 🙂
Where is these dog now ? Is he able to eat to get the proper nutrition into him , how old is he? I would welcome him into my home no problem. Did someone adopt him ?
Where can we donate to help this precious dog?
Can money be raised for surgery to correct whatever can be corrected?
I can’t find him on the East Valley Shelter page, what have they done to him?
Oh, no! It says he was getting a lot of attention…They probably just saw him and put him down right then! These SoCal shelter need a complete revamping, and new people at the helm!!
We don’t know that. But we also don’t know if he was suffering or if he was quietly moved for medical help and peace and quiet.
Poor little guy I hope somebody adopts him, but I hope he can get the medical help he needs before then. I hope there’s a kind person with deep pockets somewhere out there.
how on earth could he survive, poor doggie I live in Belgium so too difficult to adopt but happy to make a contribution and hopefully lots of animal lovers do so he can be helped in getting more comfortable
Poor dog this looks so uncomfortable ~ please help somebody kind and caring 😢 😢 😢
