Philadelphia, PA – For two years, a lonesome dog has watched people walk past her kennel run at the Pennsylvania SPCA. Lily, a mixed breed dog not quite five years of age, longs to be loved, but instead she is struggling with being an unwanted shelter dog.
Two days ago, the shelter wrote of Lily’s struggles:
For two years, Lily has watched person after person walk past her kennel.
Rarely, do they stop and ask about her.
The truth is, Lily struggles in the shelter. For a dog that loves exploring the great big world and being with her people so much, kennel life is hard.

Was Lily featured on the PSPCA lonely hearts club free adoption promotion on 2/19/24?
All these dogs with so much to offer, trashed, caged, killed for the convenience of the “pet” industry and the AKC and their puppy mills. I sure hope Lily has some great people step up and let her be part of their family forever.
