Update! After the publication of this article, Kenny was rescued!
San Bernardino, CA – A malnourished puppy is unwanted at just seven months of age. The pup, dubbed Kenny, has been at the San Bernardino City Animal Control since May 24, and already, he is in danger of being put down.

Skin and bones in a world of dread and fear 😪💔
To be KILLED 6/5! 😭
It is hard to imagine an adorable puppy being SO unwanted that he might be killed, but the shelters and rescue groups are teeming with unwanted pets and that means highly adoptable animals are losing their life.
Please share Kenny’s adoption information – he has an entire life to live, but he will not have the chance if help does not come in time.

Please tell me, is this poor precious puppy safe now??????????????????????????
I’m so relieved to read the update, that precious boy Kenny was rescued. May they ALL be rescued, and dog breeders be put in jail instead.
Well, we really don’t know if he was adopted or not!!
Sadly true. Without proof of his rescue we cannot know..
Shame on this so-called shelter. I volunteered at a NO KILL shelter and we always made room, by any means necessary, to save lives. I pray someone steps up and gives this baby a chance — or please contact NO KILL shelters in the north or east. This precious pup deserves better.
More so, it’s SHAME ON ALL PUPPY BREEDERS. With not one of them in existence the “surplus” dog problem would be a tiny fraction of what it is. To hell with all the “but we love the breed” excuses, too.
These are not “shelters” at all but kill boxes. If I could adopt them all I would.
THIS is a pound, not a shelter!! Some pounds have a shelter they put the dog in if not claimed!! Sometimes, the shelter will have to put down a dog or puppy in order to bring in another dog or puppy!! But they keep the dogs no longer than a year, some keep them lower months than that!! I don’t know why they started to call a pound a shelter, BECAUSE IT IS DEFINITELY NOT A SHELTER FOR ANY DOG!!!!!!!!!!!!!
