Wake County, NC – A dog breeder who left a litter of puppies inside of a parked car on a hot day is facing animal cruelty charges. According to sources, 36-year-old Whitney Johnson left seven French bulldog puppies in her vehicle while she went to eat; it was 100-degrees on the day the six-week-old puppies were left in the car.
According to the Apex Police Department, the puppies were left in the backseat of the car. Police Chief Jason Armstrong said, “We learned from witnesses that the puppies had been left inside of the vehicle for 30 to 45 minutes. There were seven puppies inside almost like a kiddy pool [and] a cover that had been put on top.” One of the distressed puppies was euthanized after failing to respond to treatment.
Johnson claims she is not an animal abuser and said that she takes “very good care” of her animals. The surviving puppies were taken to an area animal shelter for care; Johnson is trying to regain custody of the puppies who are being held as the case is investigated.
Johnson is facing seven misdemeanor animal cruelty charges.

I dont see how anyone buys animals from breeders when they know they are not taken care of its been known for years and years and people think they can make big money on the lives of animals… until people stop buying those poor animals it wont stop.. so many dont care where they come from or under what conditions they are born… and we the caring public pay for those breeders getting away with sueh horrific abuse and its just getting worse because of those who ignore the truth about breeders.. never known a good one they are all lousy people!
