Do You Know This Dog? Found On Forest Service Road And Missing His Family

Pendleton, OR – An animal shelter in Oregon is hoping that someone will recognize a dog who was found on July 13 in Ukiah. Yesterday, Pendleton Animal Welfare Shelter (PAWS) posted photos of the Rottweiler, explaining where he was found:

He was found by US Forest Service law enforcement on Forest Road 54 near Hideaway Hot Springs outside of Ukiah, Oregon, on July 13th. He looks extremely well cared for, and law enforcement is assuming he got away from a campsite and got lost in the woods.

According to the animal welfare agency, the dog, dubbed Carlo, had a broken tie-out attached to his collar when he was found, leading law enforcement to believe that he may have gotten away from a camp site and lost in the woods after being frightened by fireworks on the Fourth of July.

The shelter issued a plea to the public, “He is already neutered but not microchipped. Someone must be missing this sweet boy. Please share to help his people find him We are giving him so much love at the shelter, but he must have a family who misses him.”

Please share this information and help return Carlo to his family.
