Manvel, TX – A dog who was spotted running around Brazoria County with a plastic jug on her head was captured and saved. According to the Manvel Police Department, the dog was captured and taken to a veterinarian on Wednesday.
Animal control, good Samaritans, and the authorities had all been working to capture the dog before she suffered severe problems from dehydration and/or heat exhaustion. Drones were used to help track the dog and officers tried to sedate her.
All of the hard work paid off when the dog was finally secured and the plastic container was removed.
