Greenville, SC – A dog named Buster has spent more than 215 days at the Greenville Humane Society where he is known to be a “little bit weird,” but otherwise smart and personable.
On June 5, the shelter designated a special “Buster Appreciation Week,” with the hopes that their longest resident would finally find a home:
We’ve spent over 215 days with this guy and think he deserves an entire week of celebration! Buster is our longest resident by a stretch but we’re feeling EXTRA confident this is his lucky week and he will finally find his forever family!
Sharing some of Buster’s attributes:
A few things to know about Buster:
🐾 He’s a 2.5-year-old Retriever mix.
🐾 He knows ‘sit’, ‘down’, ‘touch’, and ‘leave it’.
🐾 He walks himself! Well, not really, but he loves holding onto his own leash in the yard.
🐾 He may or may not have eaten an entire Kong (he’s officially on our no-Kong list).
🐾 He enjoys playing with most other dogs. Definitely bring yours by for a meet-and-greet when you come see him!
🐾 He has eyes that stare into your soul. You may think he’s judging you, but he’s probably just waiting for you to roll his food up into a ball and hand feed him.
🐾 He’s a little bit weird, but aren’t we all?
